Miss Christy was raised in Los Angeles and started out in gymnastics as a child.  She moved to Southern Oregon and became a member of the Grants Pass High school Royals and Royalettes state championship dance team. She also danced for the GPHS Marching band and Colorgaurd which were, and still are, #1 in Oregon. In the summer, she danced for the Argonauts Drum Corps and traveled throughout California.

After taking college dance in Las Vegas, NV, she moved back to Southern Oregon, where she coached high school dance teams for 6 years.  This included starting her own Dance team at North Valley high school.  During her coaching years, she also coached for her Alma Mater, the GPHS Royalettes and GPHS Marching Band and Colorgaurd.  She walked in the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade with the marching band and colorgaurd and choreographed their parade routine.

She has worked with kids of all ages, taught preschool, and worked at a school for kids with special needs.  She taught at "Miss Kimbers" dance studio until its closing in 2021.

Besides dance and teaching kids, her true passion lies with her husband, son, and their pets.  She enjoys traveling and seeing new sights!

Cora McMullen  "Miss Cora"

Instructor-ballet/jazz/r.&Sr. Performance group

My name is Cora McMullan. I’m 18 years old and I’ve been dancing since I was 3. I recently graduated high school, but I'm also going into my junior year of college. I am currently enrolled at COCC. This upcoming fall will be my third year teaching dance and I couldn’t be more excited! Dance has been a constant for me throughout my life, and a way to artistically express myself while staying in shape. My goal while teaching is to give kids the same love and passion for dance that my lovely teachers gave me. I can’t wait for this year, and I hope we can all have an incredible season together :)

Whitney first started her dance training at the age of 6 and from there competed in numerous dance competitions across Idaho and Utah until the age of 18. She trained in jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, ballet, modern, and contemporary at Eagle Rock Dance in Idaho Falls, ID.

She attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID from 2015 to 2020. While attending UI, Whitney furthered her training in modern and ballet. She also completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at a local yoga studio and became certified in BASI Mat Pilates. In her last year at U of I, Whitney choreographed a solo for Taylor Eddleston which was selected to perform for adjudication at the American College Dance Association Conference in Spokane, WA in 2020. This piece was then selected to perform in the Gala, which was the first student piece from U of I to be selected for this performance.

Upon earning her BS in Dance and BS in Exercise Science & Health, Whitney pursued a Master of Science in Public Health and Health Promotion at Swansea University in Wales. After completing her master’s dissertation, she moved back to her hometown of Idaho Falls and decided to move to Central Oregon! Whitney is extremely excited to be teaching the next generation of dancers!
